Jaunts and Other Observations

by: Ayanna Nahmias

Have you ever asked yourself the age-old question of purpose? Have you spent much time thinking in the abstract, wondering what move should be your next? Have you wondered if there is something more to the world we inhabit, something more than the life presented by work-a-day habits? The observations, peregrinations, and musings found in this set of poems not only express a yearning to transcend the limits of human existence, but also as Teilhard de Chardin says, embraces the fact that we are “spiritual beings immersed in a human experience.”

“Jaunts and Other Observations,” is part of an anthology of autobiographical poetry and prose titled “The Physicist’s Daughter: A Trilogy.”
